The 15th Mountain Film Review in Wadowice

A film marathon, great guests, competitions with valuable prizes, a social rally, industry stands and an unforgettable atmosphere! This means one thing: the 15th Mountain Film Review, which will take place on the weekend of February 22 -23, 2025 at the Wadowice Cultural Center! The well-known and well-loved Mountain Film Review has its anniversary edition!

For the fifteenth time, the Wadowice Cultural Center invites the public to the Mountain Film Review, whose special guests will include: Krzysztof Wielicki - a prominent Himalayan who will talk about “Mountains and Friends”, Nima Sherpa - a Nepalese mountain guide and high-altitude climber raised in the shadow of Mount Everest, Sebastian Kawa - an eighteen-time World Champion in gliding competitions, the most successful glider pilot in history, Piotr Pogon - social activist, conqueror of four peaks of the Crown of the Earth, who was the first man in the world without a lung to complete the IronMan race twice, winner of the Man Without Barriers 2024 award, and Marcin Piętka - runner, ski mountaineer, GOPROWIEC, finalist of the Vistula 1200 Ultra Bike Marathon.

During the Review, specially selected, awarded and distinguished films on mountain topics will be presented, including Eliza Kubarska's award-winning film "Wanda Rutkiewicz. "Wanda Rutkiewicz. The Last Expedition."

A new feature of the anniversary review is a competition for a short film on mountain themes.
The anniversary also prompts us to celebrate with music and singing together, so we invite you to a concert by the band “House of Green Thresholds”!
