Wadowice on the Trail of Divine Mercy

On the trail created by the Local Organizing Committee of WYD and the Małopolska Tourist Organisation will be set approx. 40 places associated with St. sister Faustina and St. John Paul II, as well as with other saints like: Queen Jadwiga, John of Dukla, Simon of Lipnica, Jack Odrowąż, Rafał Kalinowski, Albert Chmielowski, Maximilian Kolbe and John Beyzyma.

The places in Małopolska connected with the idea of ​​Divine Mercy will be showed to all interested.

It is planned that in five locations will be set up boards informing about the new trail, including one in Wadowice. More information about Trail of Divine Mercy will also be located inside the temples, which were related to saints and blessed.

The creators of this trail will prepare a paper guides in several languages ​​and maps. The heart of the whole project will be an Internet portal, where tourist - pilgrim will be able to share their impressions and emotions. The website will include different categories of emotions: joy, emotion, sadness, sympathy, disappointment etc. Pilgrim walking trail can assign a particular emotion to the place in which it appears.

The upcoming World Youth Day was one of the main inspirations for the trail's project. Its creators believe that it will become part of a wider range of Małopolska, which has a lot to offer those interested a tourist religious.
