
Młyn Jazz Festival Wadowice starts tomorrow!
The 7th edition of the Młyn Jazz Festival Wadowice is ahead of us - the event that has already entered the calendar of the most important summer music project not only in our region. This year's Festival is organized with financial support of the Wadowice Commune and honorary patron of the event is Mayor of Wadowice Mateusz Klinowski.
The organizers – Młyn Jacka Hotel & Spa, the Wadowice Cultural Center and the Positively Crazy about Culture Foundation, as every year have ensured a rich program and invited the top stars. Musicians who played on the stage in previous editions of the Festival: Basia Trzetrzelewska, Urszula Dudziak, Candy Dulfer, Leszek Możdzer, Michał Urbaniak, Bernard Maseli, Mika Urbaniak, Beata Przybytek, Adam Bałdych, Richard Bona, Anna Maria Jopek, Włodek Pawlik, Aga Zaryan, Incognito and many other forms of Polish and foreign jazz scene.
This year's three-day , Festival will start on the evening of July 6, 2017 at 8 p.m. with Herbie Hancock's concert featuring Vinnie Colaiut, James Genus, Lionel Loueke and Terrace Martin. The Marta Król & Paweł Tomaszewski Group will be presented with a repertoire of the album Tribute To The Police.
Friday (July 7) will be owned by Stanisław Soyka & Wojciech Karolak Trio, followed by Dianne Reeves and Chris Botti. Start of the concert at 6 p.m.
At the end of the Festival on Saturday (8 July), also at 6 p.m. you will be able to hear Maria Sadowska on the project "Jazz on the Streets", then The Brand New Heavies and John Scofield Uberjam Band (Andy Hess, Avi Bortnick, Dennis Chambers).
