The Beskid Way of St. James
The Beskid Way of St. James stretches from Litmanowa in Slovakia to Olomouc in the Czech Republic. It leads along the favorite tourist and pilgrimage paths of St. John Paul II. Some of its fragments coincide with the Lesser Poland Papal Trail. On the other hand, in the Czech Republic it has many fragments in common with the Ways of St. st. Cyril and Methodius. It is marked with a white shell with a red sword-cross on a blue background. It is 525 km long and is a logical connection of local pilgrimage routes to the famous Beskid basilicas and foothills (Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Limanowa, Wadowice, Frydek-Mistek, Olomouc), sanctuaries and wonderful historic churches of St. Jacob. In Olomouc, our "Beskidzkie Camino" connects with the planned Jacob's Road from Częstochowa, to join the French Route through Brno, Český Krumlov, Bavaria, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and France to join the French Route and reach Compostello.
The Beskid Way of St. Jacob consists of eight independent sections:

This section leads the pilgrim along both ancient far-reaching (Holy Land, Rome, Compostelo) and modern pilgrimage routes. Finally, the road along this section leads us along the favorite tourist and pilgrimage paths of St. John Paul II, and some fragments coincide with the Małopolska Papal Trail.
