Municipal walking trails

There are currently two urban walking trails in Wadowice: Karol Wojtyła Trail and Galicyjskie Wadowice.

The Karol Wojtyła Foot Trail was established in 2005 to show tourists and pilgrims places related to the childhood and youth of St. John Paul II. It is about 4.5 km long and leads through 14 stations. These places are marked with double-sided boards and described in detail in guidebooks.

Galician Wadowice is a route created in 2018 to show visitors to Wadowice the history of the town during the partitions of Poland, when as a result of the processes taking place in the 19th century, it was transformed into a modern, European town. The trail is about 5 km long and leads through 13 stations. These places are marked with double-sided boards in the shape of a nice gentleman in a bowler hat or a lady with a bun, and described in detail in guidebooks.
