“Pope John Paul II in comics”

We invite all people from Wadowice and tourists to visit exhibition entitled: “Pope John Paul II in comics” which was made by Artur Wabik.

The exhibition “Pope John Paul II in comics” presents in extraordinary, cartoon way a person, timeless phenomenon – John Paul II. Exterior exhibition consists 16 boards and will be available for all people from Wadowice and tourists who came to visit our city from 27^th of August 2018.

The inspiration to make this project for the author was a comics of the top publisher
company - MARVEL Comics Group. This American agency published in  1982 a comics entitled “The life of Pope John Paul II” describing life of Polish Pope until the date of release that comics. John Paul II quickly became one of the most popular protagonist in Marvel’s comics. The comic book turned out to be a big success and was sold in millions copies all over the world.
