3rd Christmas Market in Wadowice

Mayor of Wadowice Mateusz Klinowski cordially invites to the 3rd Christmas Market, which will take place at Jan Paweł II Square in Wadowice from 16 to 23 December 2017.
This is the third edition of the Christmas event in Wadowice. Previous Christmas Markets enjoyed warm welcome among residents and tourists visiting our town and were very popular among exhibitors.
Our Christmas Market is not only a charming stand, open every day from 9a.m. to 5p.m., but also a number of accompanying events. Traditionally, there will be a rich of artistic program: joint carol singing, performances by children from municipal schools and kindergartens as well as interesting competitions with prizes. Our Market will light up the Christmas decorations and Santa Claus will visit us. Everyone who is willing to visit the route of Karol Wojtyla will be transported free of charge by retro-choo-choo.
An important element of the Market will be "Christmas Eve at Wojtyla". This unusual charity event, available to all interested parties, organized by the Municipal Office in Wadowice, is possible thanks to the support of local confectioners and restaurateurs which prepare Christmas dishes. This year, "Christmas Eve at Wojtyła" will take place on Sunday, December 17 from 3 pm and we would like to invite all residents to take part in this beautiful event.

From 9.30 a.m. regional eliminations to the XXIV International Festival of Christmas Carols and Pastorals in Będzin - audition of bands and choirs (at the Out-of-School Work Center)
3.30p.m. opening ceremony of the Market
4p.m. Switch on the Christmas illumination by the Mayor of Wadowice, followed by a concert of Christmas carols performed by Attacca
