The hut of the “Limba” Mountain Tourism Club on Trzonka is located in the Little Beskid Mountains in the Bukowski Groń Range (782 m. above sea level) stretching between Porąbka and Targanice.
To be more precise, the hut is located in the hamlet of Trzonka - on the slope of the not very prominent peak of Trzonka (729 m.), near the Bukowskie Pass (635 m.), where the yellow trail from Targanice joins the ridge - the green one, running from Przeł. Kocierska to Porąbka. A path leads from the Bukowska Pass, which takes 2 minutes to reach the Limba KTG hut. This part of the Beskid Mały is sometimes referred to as the Beskid Zakocierski, and the Beskid Mały itself used to be called “the Polish Beskid” by Kazimierz Sosnowski, since it was the only one in the whole area within the borders of the Republic of Poland. The Bukowski Groń ridge occupies the area between the Wielka Puszcza valley to the south and the Dol. Tanganica Valley (Transverse Valley), which surrounds it to the east. The range borders the Silesian Foothills to the north.
